1. Purpose and fields of application
The works of art for sale are limited prints, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Each print is produced by a service provider of the artist's choice, controlled and signed by the latter.
Any order must be made by digital exchange (i.e. e-mail, in particular via the contact form on the official website) and can be shipped to France and the European Union; for any other destination contact the artist for confirmation.
2. Price of a print
The final price of a print being the result of various choices or various options when ordering, any price displayed on the site would only be an estimate of the average price and cannot be a representation of the final price.
Only the amount expressed on the quote sent by the artist to the buyer will be final after agreement.
During the ordering process, any expressed price is net, with no additional VAT (VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code (CGI).) and in euros (€). However, customs taxes may apply if the buyer is not an EU resident.
3. Ordering and payment
The process for ordering one (or more) prints is as follows:
- The buyer will contact the artist via the site's contact form or directly via an email addressed to
hello@gooz.photography. - The buyer will specify in his message the chosen work and the desired size according to the sizes offered on the “Buy a print” page of the official website.
- The artist will provide options and ask the buyer for personal information necessary to complete the order.
- The artist will send back, after collecting the necessary information, a quote to be signed by the buyer.
- The buyer must return the dated and signed quote accompanied by the mention “good for agreement” to start production of the print. By signing the quote, the buyer acknowledges having read and accepted these general conditions of sale.
- The artist will send a final invoice to the buyer once the work has been received by the client.
Payment for the print will be made, at the buyer's request, either by bank transfer (IBAN present on the quote and invoice), or by an online payment link, or, if meeting in person is possible, by bank card.
4. Lead time and shipping
Production and delivery times are estimated to be approximately 4 weeks in total. A print being produced on demand by a service provider with a fluctuating production flow then transported by an independent carrier (not defined in advance), the artist is unable to promise precise deadlines and cannot be held responsible for any delay, whether in production or delivery.
However, the artist undertakes, as far as possible, to keep the buyer informed of the progress of his order.
The print will be carefully packaged for its protection during transport and will be insured with the carrier. The artist cannot be held responsible in the event of loss, theft or damage to the print during transport. In this situation and if it is confirmed, a replacement print may be offered, where possible, to the buyer or failing that a refund will be offered.
5. Cancellation, returns, and refunds
As all prints are produced on demand and in a personalized manner, the right of withdrawal will not be applicable; an order cannot be canceled and payment will be due in full upon acceptance of the quote by the customer.
6. Copyright
The purchase of a print does not in any way entail a transfer of the artist's copyrights. The buyer, by completing an order, acquires the material support only and will have no right to reproduce the work.
7. Warranties
The prints are produced under the control of the artist and are guaranteed to be consistent with the artist’s intent. The print cannot be considered defective if the visual rendering of the print (colors, contrast, brightness, etc.) is not to the buyer's liking.
